It’s reported that over 34% of or reviews across all categories are fraudulent on Amazon. So how do you know if an Amazon review is reject. So let’s go over some of them to better arm you with knowledge of how to spot them on Amazon.

These categories see the highest percentages of fake reviews and within these categories, Bluetooth headsets, cell phones, cell phones, accessories, and electronics are the most heavily target products.
The second is to take a hard look at the star ratings. If there are only five stars or from unknown sellers for a me too product, then chances are the reviews are not authentic. Even the best products from a top brand will have a smatterings of one, two and three star reviews. Every consumer will experience the product differently.
Therefore, every product should have only five star ratings. The third way is to spot how their review is written. Is it very short. Does it provide little product details? Is it generic with phrases like good product or great company? Are there other similar reviews with a minor work tweaked? Then a review is probably fake.
The fourth way is to do a sort by the reviews by the most recent, to get the latest pulse on the product and customer feedback. Most often the default is by relevancy and oftentimes fake reviews have been upvoted to bubble up to the top. So sorting by the most recent reviews provide a clearer picture. And lastly do not skip over scrutinizing verified reviews.
Bear sellers have been known to refund incentivized reviewers outside of Amazon to providing gift cards, which makes it even harder to spot a legit review from a bad one. Although Amazon has taken measures, you must do your own due diligence. And with these tips in hand scrutinize reviews and take action when necessary.
