Optimizing content for mobile shopping Mobile Considerations: Key Differences Between Desktop & Mobile on Amazon Buy Box: Front & Center

Optimizing Content for Mobile Shopping

Transcription

One of the major differences to the mobile view is the location of the buy box. In this example, by all spray, we can see that the above the fold information consists of the title, the product images, the variations, and the price. As we scroll below the fold, we immediately get to the buy box. The key difference here is that we don’t even see product bullet points before we are prompted to buy the product on desktop view, the buy box is pushed to the right side. So the hierarchy of information is much more ambiguous.
