Section 8: All Listings Report
The All Listings Report Overview
• This report is similar to the Active Listings Report, except it provides a snapshot of all products for a specific merchant or seller, and goes further to include listings that are active, inactive, and incomplete.
• As you may recall the Active Listings Report only showed listings that were active.
Creating an All Listings Report
• To create an All Listings Report, select “Inventory Reports” from the Drop-Down Menu of the “Inventory” tab on the top menu of Seller Central.
• On the next page, select “All Listings Report” from the “Select Report Type” Drop-Down Menu provided. Should you wish to customize your report first, click the “Customize the columns for this report” link.
• On the following page, select your Report Type from the Drop-Down Menu provided.
• Select the Group you wish to run the report for from the available Drop-Down Menu.
• Select the field you wish to add from the table of Available Attributes to the left of the page and click the “Add” button in between the two tables.
• This field will then appear in the table to the right of the page.
• You can opt to remove one of the fields you have added by clicking on it in the right table and clicking the “Remove” button in between the two tables.
• The field you removed will then appear in the left side table.
• You can also choose to add all the available attributes by clicking the “Add all” button in between the two tables.
• You can choose to start over by clicking the “reset” button at the bottom right side of the page.
• Once you are happy with your column selections, click the “Save” button at the bottom right of the page.
• Return to your Inventory Reports page by clicking the “Inventory Reports” link at the top left of the page.
• Here you will now see the word “Custom” in brackets alongside your “All Listings Report” from the Drop-Down Menu alongside the Report Type.
• You can now click the “Request Report” button.
• Your report will appear in the table below with a “Pending” status.
• Once it is ready to be downloaded, the status will change to “Ready” and you will see the “Download” link has become live.
• Click on this “Download” link and download your report to your computer as needed.
Understanding the All Listings Report
• Once you have downloaded and opened your All Listings Report, you will see the following fields or columns: item-name, item-description, listing-id, seller-sku, price, quantity, open-date, item-is-marketplace, product-id-type, zshop-shipping-fee, item-note, item-condition, zshop-category1, zshop-browse-path, zshop-storefront-feature, asin1, asin2, asin3, will-ship-internationally, expedited-shipping, zshop-boldface, product-id, bid-for-featured-placement, add-delete, pending-quantity and fulfillment-channel.
• The unused fields are provided for backwards compatibility to allow sellers who originally integrated their business using these fields to continue with their current software programs. If you do not need any of these fields, you may simply delete the columns from your downloaded report.
• The “item-name” Column refers to the title of the item listed. This will be populated with Amazon catalog data.
• The “item-description” Column is used for backwards compatibility only.
• The “listing-id” Column refers to an identifier created by Amazon when you create a listing. It normally consists of 4 digits, a capital letter, and 6 more digits.
• The “seller-sku” Column refers to the Stock Keeping Units (SKUs), which are unique blocks of letters and/or numbers that identify your products. SKUs are assigned by you as the seller.
• The “price” Column refers to the price you are asking for the product.
• The “quantity” Column refers to the quantity of the product available for purchase and this can very well by a zero value as you are now including incomplete and inactive listings.
• The “open-date” Column refers to the date the listing was created.
• The “item-is-marketplace” Column refers to whether the product is in the Amazon Marketplace and will now either be “y” for “Yes” if an active listing or “n” for “No” if an inactive or incomplete listing.
• The “product-id-type” Column refers to a numeric entry that indicates if the product-id is an ASIN, ISBN, UPC, or EAN code/number. When uploading files in Standard Book format, this field value will default to 2 (ISBN) unless otherwise specified. You would need to be familiar with which numeric entry pertains to which product ID type, namely:
* 1 = ASIN
* 2 = ISBN
* 3 = UPC
* 4 = EAN
• The “zshop-shipping-fee” Column is used for backwards compatibility only.
• The “item-note” Column refers to your description of the listing.
• The “item-condition” Column refers to your condition code for the listing and you would need to be familiar with which numeric entry pertains to which condition, namely:
* 1 = Used; Like New
* 2 = Used; Very Good
* 3 = Used; Good
* 4 = Used; Acceptable
* 5 = Collectible; Like New
* 6 = Collectible; Very Good
* 7 = Collectible; Good
* 8 = Collectible; Acceptable
* 10 = Refurbished
* 11 = New
• The “zshop-category1” Column is used for backwards compatibility only.
• The “zshop-browse-path” Column is used for backwards compatibility only.
• The “zshop-storefront-feature” Column is used for backwards compatibility only.
• The “asin1” Column is not used and the field is populated with the product-id.
• The “asin2” Column is used for backwards compatibility only.
• The “asin3” Column is used for backwards compatibility only.
• The “will-ship-internationally” Column refers to whether your product is available to customers outside of the current country and you would need to be familiar with which numeric entry pertains to which type of shipping, namely:
* 1 = listings that are available only to customers in the U.S.
* 2 = listings that are available to customers outside of the U.S.
• The “expedited-shipping” Column refers to types of shipping available for your product and you would need to be familiar with which term or letter refers to which type of expedited shipping, namely:
* Second = listings that are available for second day shipping to U.S. domestic addresses
* Next = listings that are available for next day shipping to U.S. domestic addresses
* Same = listings that are available for same day shipping to U.S. domestic addresses
* n = not offered
• The “zshop-boldface” Column is used for backwards compatibility only.
• The “product-id” Column refers to the ASIN, ISBN, UPC, or EAN for the item.
• The “bid-for-featured-placement” Column is used for backwards compatibility only.
• The “add-delete” Column will be empty in the report as it enables you to use an Open Listings Report to update online inventory.
• The “pending-quantity” Column refers to the quantity of the item that is pending purchase at the time of the report.
• The “fulfillment-channel” Column will indicate for FBA sellers if the listing is set for seller fulfilment or fulfilment by Amazon.
Uses of the All Listings Report__
• The All Listings Report is a very useful report for doing maintenance to your catalog listings.
• You can use this report as a checklist for fixing inactive or incomplete listings, or perhaps you wish to leave the inactive listings as inactive and would like to report to your company which listings or SKUs are inactive.
• Your marketing team can also isolate and work in the incomplete listings in order to finalise and complete them and get them up on the Amazon Marketplace.
