Seller Central: Promotions, Coupons and Deals
Transcription
Coupons work the same way as your little coupons work in a store. That is, you can decide how much of a discount you would like to give your customers for each coupon per product or products. For UK and EU based seller central accounts, the coupon is known as a voucher. The per unit discount can be a monetary amount or a percentage off the current Amazon retail website price.
show moreDepending on whether you are using US or UK and EU Seller Central accounts and you can set a budget to prevent yourself giving too much money away on these coupons. After setting a promotional budget, the coupon will expire. If the budget is met before the end date, you specify. You can allow consumers to redeem the discount on one unit of an eligible product or multiple units and in one checkout or multiple checkouts when creating your coupon.
You can use coupons for a variety of reasons, such as increasing sales of slow moving inventory, reducing end of line products, boosting sales for newly launched products, etc. Customers can discover coupons through the following options on the coupon’s homepage.
In search results, on the product detail pages. On the offer listings page in their cards, and as well as various other avenues when you choose to promote them through advertising, which we will look at in a later video of the section. You can also create coupons to offer targeted discounts to consumers on your products and share with consumers through social media and marketing programs while the promotion is active.
Consumers can add products to their cart directly from the marketing page, and the discount will automatically apply at the checkout. You can also choose to customize the coupon to feature your brand name, product, sponsored influences, or upcoming events.
